Southwestern Christian University (3-13) defeated Langston University 3-1 to secure their first conference win of the season.

The Lions put up a fight, but SCU rallied to convincingly win three of the four sets played to put away their opponents. Paige McGee led the Eagles in kills with 17, Dasia Ingram and Alondra Esparza finsiehd with 10 kills each, and Tessa Ortiz racked up 9. Ingram also had 3 service aces, while Faith DeSouza tallied 5 kills and 37 assists.
