New Year - Another Win

Bethany, Okla.--Southwestern Christian(6-5,4-4 SAC) rolls past  Southwestern Assemblies of God on Thursday afternoon with a win of 90-82.

SAGU shot 32 of 71 from the field(45%). Brooks Haddock was the leading scorer for the Tigers shooting 7-16 from the field and ending the game with 18 points. The Eagles defensively ended the night with 7 steals and 2 Blocks.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 35-64(55%) from the floor, while shooting 11 of 22(50%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 9-14(64%) from the Charity stripe. The Bench of SCU contributed 33 pts to the effort out performing the Central Christian bench. Ronald Moore being the top scorer coming off the bench with 20 points. Central Christian out-rebounded the Eagles by a +10 advantage, (43-33 CCCK), CCCK had more second chance points over SCU (25-6). Jordan Williams lead SCU with eight assists and SCU ended the night with 18 assist overall. The Big Stat for SCU was 38 points in the paint and 18 points off of turnovers.

Luiz Machado Jr. led the scoring for SCU with 35 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assist. He shot 12-16 from the floor, 6-7 from beyond the Arc and 5-8 from the Charity stripe. Bralen Patterson finished the night with 9 points, 4 rebounds,2 assist. 

Southwestern Christian returns to action on the Road in Dallas,Tx on January 7th at 2:00 PM against University of North Texas of Dallas for Sooner Athletic Conference action and more SCU Men's Basketball.
