Oklahoma City,Okla.-- Southwestern Christian(8-7, 6-6 SAC) and cross town rival Mid-America Christian played Monday afternoon at the Gaulke Center City, the Eagles would come out on top 89 to 86. The Evangels shot 32 of 86 from the field(37%). Dylan Goodwyn was the leading scorer for the Evangels shooting 8-15 from the field and ending the game with 19 points. The Eagles defensively ended the night with 8 steals and 8 Blocks.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 22-52(42%) from the floor, while shooting 9 of 26(35%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 36-41(88%) from the Charity Stripe. This is the most free throws the Eagles have shoot in a game since SCU started athletics. The Bench of SCU contributed 27 points to the effort. Shawn Hopkins being the top scorer coming off the bench with 16 points. The Eagles were almost out-rebounded by double their rebounds(33-62). This game was close through the entire game, SCU's biggest lead was by 11.
