Bethany, Oklahoma – Southwestern Christian dropped tonight's matchup against John Brown University by a set count of 3-0. The Eagles, despite playing each set closer than the last, struggled with errors on both offense and defense.
Treasure Mozon finished the night with 25 digs, the most of any player on the court. Junior Tessa Ortiz led Southwestern Christian with 3.0 total blocks, with a dig of her own.
Makenna Thomas led the offensive charge for Southwestern Christian. Thomas posted 13 kills by the conclusion of the match, as the Outside Hitter found opportunity after opportunity to put the pressure on the opposing Golden Eagles. Mina Iboni played a large role in the Eagles' offense as well - posting 6 kills of her own - and Faith DeSouza's 17 assists set the stage for the offense throughout the match.
