Bethany, Okla – The Lady Eagles picked up their first conference win tonight beating Central Christian College of Kansas. SCU came out with a lot of fire after taking a hard loss last night against Langston. The Eagles had a team hitting percentage of .283.
Treasure Mozon led the Eagles in the dig category with 20 but had some help from Makenna Thomas who had 12. The Eagles defense was outstanding tonight against the Tigers only allowing a hitting percentage of .164.
Makenna Thomas led the Eagles with 12 Kills in the game, Mina Iboni helped the offense with 11 kills and had a hitting percentage of .320. Tierney Sawyers finished the game with 11 kills coming from the middle of the court and having a hitting percentage of .400.
The Eagles return to action on Friday Sep. 23 at home when they face #23 SAGU at 6:00PM. SAGU has an overall record at 12-0.
