Bethany, Okla – The lady Eagles take the first home game of the season versus Randall University. They dominated the court in every category, especially in Kills and assists.
The Eagles defense was in full effect last night, the Sophomore Treasure Monzon dug up 13 balls. Tierney Sawyers was a brick wall as she alone had 6 blocks.
Not only was the Eagles defense great, the offense was just as dominant. Freshman Mina Iboni started her college career strong as she tallied 13 kills, she looks to break the school record by the end of this season. Makenna Thomas, after coming off an exceptional season last year, comes back and proves there was no rust as she had 10 kills. She is on pace to have another great year for the Eagles. Paige McGee also played great as she had 9 kills for the Eagles.
The next match up for the Lady Eagles will be Friday and Saturday August 26 and 27th as they will compete in the PSC classic at 12 PM and 5:30 PM. The Lady Eagles will look to dominate this tournament the same way they did last season.
