Bethany,Okla.--Southwestern Christian(11-9,1-5 SAC) was overpowered by #6 Oklahoma City(19-1,6-0 SAC) in game two of series and SCU Offense struggles to piece Hits together and Comeback fizzles out in final inning of Game Three.
Game Two:
Oklahoma City opened up the game with two runs in the First inning starting with a Double to Right-Center and scoring two and giving the Stars an early 2-0 lead. The Stars would add more cushion in the Top of the 3rd, with a single to Right-Center and scoring two more runs for OCU and making a 4-0 ballgame. OCU would an insurance in the fourth inning on a Double to Right-Center and give the Stars a 5-0 lead going into the Bottom of the Fourth. Oklahoma City would open the game up with a Seven Run Fifth inning it started off a Wild pitch that forced a OCU runner in to make it 6-0 and then a HBP forced another runner to come across and make it 7-0 stars. The Stars would score again on a passed ball to make it 8-0 OCU in the Fifth, Later in the Fifth, OCU would score a run off a Groundout to make the lead even larger at 9-0. OCU is not finished just yet, The Stars would drive in two more runs with a Double to Left-Center to make 11-0. The Stars would add on one more run in the fifth with a Sacrifice Fly to Right-Field, to make the lead 12-0 OCU. Oklahoma City adds four more runs in the sixth inning starting with a single to Right-Field but the Stars would score on a SCU Error that forces a run home for OCU and now making it 13-0, and a little later OCU would tally another run on a passed ball that forces a run home and now making it 14-0. OCU would then hit a Single to Left to drive in a run and giving OCU a bigger lead at 15-0, and a little later, the Stars would hit a Double to Left field and score another run to make it 16-0 in top of the sixth. Southwestern Christian would five runs in the sixth and one in the seventh, it started with aÂ
Freilin Cabrera single to left that drove in a run to make it 1-16. Then SCU would score a run on a OCU Error that would make it a 2-16 ball game,Â
Jabes Turner would drive a run in with a sacrifice Fly to Center-Field to cut the lead to 3-16, then Cabrera would score a run on a Wild Pitch by OCU to cut the lead to 4-16, Joseph Boone would hit a Single to drive in Beres and make the game a little more interesting at 5-16, going into the seventh.Â
Freilin Cabrera would respond in the bottom of the seventh for the Eagles with a Double to Left, that drives in a run for the Eagles and make it 6-16, but that would be all of the late innings rally for the Eagles.Â
Henrry Ogando picks up his First loss of the season moving to 2-1 on the season, his final line was 2.0 IP,2 K,4 H, 4 Er.
Jesus Valoy would come in next for SCU, his final line was 2.0 IP, 2K,4 H,1 BB, 3 Er.Â
Jordan Bahnuk came in next for the Eagles, his final line 0.1 IP, 1 H, 3 Er.Â

Pitching Dominated this game as both starters went 6 innings and Runs were hard to come by, unfortunately the OCU Stars would take this win home on a 3-1 Final. The Stars draw first blood in the Third inning with a Single to left and give OCU the lead at 1-0. OCU would score a run in the sixth to add cushion with a Double to make it a 2-0 ball game. OCU would add an Insurance run in the seventh on a Triple down the left field line to give OCU the 3-0 lead. Southwestern Christian would try a seventh inning Rally with aÂ
Parker Henderson Sacrifice Fly to Center that would drive in a run, but that would be all SCU could muster in the Final inning.
