Lady Eagles Dominant at home against SAGU

Bethany, Okla - The Lady Eagles move to (12-11, 7-10 SAC) on the season as they power through the Lady Lions 63-55 and get off their losing streak. The Lady Lions shot 18-64 from the Field about 28%, 7-27 from three (26%) and 12-15 shooting from the Free Throw Line about 80%. The Eagles were able to get 16 pts forcing 17 Turnovers which helped lead to the win.

The Lady Eagles Offense shot 20-55 from the Floor (36%), shot 2-12 from three (16%) and from the Free throw line shot 21-28 (75%). Lauren Wade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 13 points. The Bench helped also contributed 13 pts to the Winning effort. The Lady Eagles destroyed the Lions by out-rebounding them 50-22. SCU had 13 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to 13 second chance points for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles also had 14 assist in the Game. Abbey Phi's led the team in assist with 6. The big stat for the SCU Offense was 26 points in the paint.

The Junior Lauren Wade had a big Offensive night with 5-11 shooting and 3-4 from the Free Throw Line. Her Final stat line is 13 pts, 10 Rebs, 2 Ast, and 2 Stl. This was here first double-double on the season. Senior Thamires Andrade also contributed to the offensive effort with 4-8 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line, Her Final stat line was 12 pts,10 Rebs, 2 Stl, and 4 Ast,  Tresha Yager finished with 10 pts, 7 Rebs,and 1 Ast.

The Lady Eagles will return to action on the road on Monday, February 7th at 5:00pm, they will travel to Dallas, Texas to play UNT-Dallas in another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
