Ecclesia opened up the Game in the Top of the 1st, with a Homerun by Madison Knox to put the Royals up early, which would be the only Run of Game one for the Royals.

SCU scored 5 runs in the top of 1st and got the Lead with a Error by the Ecclesia RF, Runs came across for the Eagles. Run three and four came off of the bat of Holly Elam who smacked a ball over the third baseman to get a stand-up Double and give a 3-run cushion for SCU. SCU would add on one more Run in the 1st off of an Error by the Ecclesia Catcher to make it 5-1 Eagles moving into the 2nd Inning.

SCU adds more runs in the 2nd Inning, first with a SAC Fly by Madison Jones, who scored Jalen Durrence to increase the SCU lead to 6-1 over the Royals. Alys Parr would score on a Wild Pitch to add more cushion to the SCU and extend the lead to 7-1.Megan Vess scores on a fielder's choice to push the lead to 8-1. SCU stacks on their ninth Run in the 3rd Inning with a single by Alys Parr, Sarafina Youngblood would score on the base hit to make the lead 9-1 over Ecclesia.

Southwestern Christian would total 2 Doubles and 5 stolen Bases in Game 1, but the big stats would belong to Harley Clem who had 8 k's on the day and only giving up 1 earned run and 3 hits on the day. After giving up the Homer in the 1st, she kept Ecclesia Hitless all the way up till the 5th inning of play.
