Plainview,TX.-- Southwestern Christian(4-4, 2-1 SAC) beat the #11 team in the country on Thursday afternoon Wayland Baptist University.  Pioneers shot 29-73 from the field(40%). Jenna Cooper- Jackson was the leading scorer for WBU shooting 12-20 from the field and ending the game with 29 points. The Eagles defense had 6 steals on the night.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 30-57(53%) from the floor, while shooting 7 of 13(54%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 14 for 17 (83%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 22 points. Lauren Wade was the top scorer with 15 points. Southwestern out-rebounded the pioneers, (44-34). MJ Case and Delaney Reimer led SCU with four assists and SCU ended the night with 17 assists overall. Lauren Wade and MJ Case led the scoring for the Eagles with 15 points. Delaney Reimer finished the night with 13 points, 2 rebounds.

Southwestern Christian returns to action on the Road in Goodwell, Okla on December 3rd at 2:00 PM against Oklahoma Panhandle State for another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
