Kissimmee, Florida - The Southwestern Christian Women's soccer team were back in action Tuesday afternoon as they battled the Lady Eagles of Judson University. SCU had a hard fought battle and came up short losing the match 0-1.
First Half:
SCU started this game off very composed and competitive. The Eagles came out very aggressive and played hard in a 0-0 first half. This half was a chess match, as there was counter after counter for everything any team tried.

Second Half:
The second half showed much of the same from the first half of play. SCU kept pace with Judson the entire match until the 85' when they scored a heartbreaking goal to put them up 1-0, and closing the SCU Eagles path to the next round. In the end SCU played with pride and gave it their all.

This loss brings an end to Southwestern Christian's season. The Eagles placed 7th in the Sooner Athletic Conference, the future looks bright for the Eagles, with many returning players and a solid recruiting class set to join the Eagles, the expectations will continue to grow as the program continues to build. SCU went to their first ever NCCAA National Tournament and will look forward to getting back to Florida next year for nationals!
