Siloam Springs Ark,.—Southwestern Christian(7-4, 5-3 SAC) stunned John Brown University (10-6, 4-4 SAC)  with a win 95-83. JBU shot 28-76 from the Field about 36%, 16-48 from three (33%) and shot 11-14 from about 78%.The Eagles had only 8 pts off of 14 Turnovers in the Winning effort but the key to beating JBU was getting points inside the paint. SCU had 60 points inside the paint.  SCU also picked up 6 steals and 1 block. Ron Washington had a huge game with season high numbers. 

The Eagles Offense had another great showing today, as they shot 30-51 from the Floor (58%). SCU shot 10-19 from three (52%) and from the Free throw line shot 25-34 (73%). Luiz Machado Jr led the SCU Eagles in Points, he had 27 Points. The Bench contributed 32 pts to the effort, Ronald Washington led the Eagles in Rebounds with 10 Rbs, while coming off the bench. The Eagles had 13 assist in the Game. Derek Dantzler led the team in assist with 5.

The Senior Ronald Washington had a big Offensive night with 5-8 shooting and 0-2 from beyond the arc,and 6-6 from the free throw line, He finished the game with 16 pts, 10 Rebs, and 3 Ast. Luiz Machado Jr also contributed to the Offensive effort, he shot 9-12 from the Field and 6-8 from three, His Final stat line was 27 pts, 5 Rebs, 1 Ast, 1 Stl. Derek Dantzler finished the night with, His Final stat line was 16 pts, 4 Rebs, 5 Ast, and 1 Stls.

The Eagles will return to action at home, Saturday January 8, in Pickens-Springer Gymnasium at 4:00 PM against OKC Rival Oklahoma City University.
