Fort Worth,Texas.--Southwestern Christian had to battle back from an early deficit, but were able to quickly counter with three unanswered to come away with a 3-1 victory at Martin Field. TXWU took the lead in the 24^th minute to give the Rams the 1-nil advantage before the Eagles put together a quick response.In the 33^rd minute, Muhammad Bilal pushed across his second goal in the SAC tournament off the assist from Teejay Chiororo to draw the match even before Paul Richter fired in a score with 5:43 left to give SCU the 2-1 edge at the halftime break. Alejandro sainz gave SCU some second half insurance with a 70^th minute goal from a Cameron Ashby pass secure the win. While Southwestern Christian held a slim shooting advantage (11-10), the Eagles were more efficient in their attack, owning a commanding 7-3 edge in shots on-goal.

Under the lights in near perfect conditions, one of the largest crowds to ever share the lawn at Martin Field were treated to an intense battle between two championship-minded teams. SCU, who just lost a 4-1 game at Martin Field a week ago, returned to take a 3-1 win. The Eagles advance to play at #9 Mid-America Christian in the title match on Thursday, Nov. 11.
