Southwestern Christian stood tall on Defense forcing bad shot after bad shot and forcing many turnovers on the Falcons. Forcing 28 turnovers on the Falcons, with 16 steals, and 2 Blocks. The Falcons shot 19-61 from the Field about 31%, 3-27 from three (11%) and also had a tough time at the Charity strike shooting 10-17 about 58%. SCU Defense was stout and forced tough shots. Abbey Phibbs and Gillian Snowder both had 3 steals. The Eagles were able to get 33 pts off of Turnovers which led to the big rout.

The Lady Eagles Offense also had a good showing today, as they shot 37-76 from the Floor (48%). They did improve shooting from beyond the arc, SCU shot 9-24 from three (37%) and from the Free throw line shot 8-17 (47%). Thamires Andrade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 24 pts. The Bench helped also contributed 34 pts to the Winning effort. The Lady Eagles did get Out-Rebounded by the Falcons 43-38. SCU had 10 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to 8 second chance pts for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles also moved the Ball really well tonight getting 26 assist in the Game. Abbey Phibbs led the team in assist with six, Gillian Snowder finished with 4 assist on the night and Kea Mays had 3. The Eagles on got on the Fast break quite about and had 18 Fast break points.

The Senior Thamires Andrade had a big Offensive night with 10-16 shooting and 4-8 from the Free throw Line, she finished the game with 24 pts, 6 Rebs, 2 Ast, and 1 Stl. Junior Tresha Yager also contributed to the Offensive effort with 5-9 shooting and 5-7 shooting from beyond the arc, Her Final stat line was 15 pts, 2 Rebs, 2 Ast, 2 Stl. Gillian Snowder finished with 11 pts, and Tyuna Vincent finished with 8 pts, and MJ Case finished with 7 pts.

The Lady Eagles will return to action on the Road on Monday, November 8th,at 7:00pm against Oklahoma Baptist Lady Bison at Noble Complex in Shawnee,OK.
