Jeremiah Vidale scored for SCU in the 59th minute and then again during the 84th minute. SCU tried to come back but could not get the tie gaming goal in the last minutes.

JBU's Oscar Carballo opened the scoring in the 36th minute by dribbling through the middle of the SCU defense before firing a shot just inside the left post to give John Brown a 1-0 lead and then he will score again right after halftime at the 46 minute marker. Jacob Zamarron helped JBU add more insurance to their lead by finding the back of the net during the 83rd minute.

The win for JBU gives them the head to head against SCU. If the Eagles can earn a victory over Texas Wesleyan in Ft. Worth, SCU will face John Brown again in Bethany, Okla. for a rematch in the Post-Season.
