Kent Williams

Kent Williams enters his 13th season in control of the Southwestern Christian University softball program.

Williams led SCU to program-high 38 wins in his season as head coach in 2023. 

Williams came to SCU having previously served as head coach at Hillsdale Baptist (Okla.) for four years. He also served as coach of the Oklahoma Magic (U-18).

Williams received a bachelor's degree in education and is in pursuit of a master's degree, both from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

He serves as deacon at Newcastle Free Will Baptist Church where he also served as a youth minister for eight years.

Williams resides in Tuttle, Okla., with his wife of 29 years, Kim. They have three daughters: Jill, Tara, and Alli.
