SCU?s Dyer Sets Record at Southern Stampede

JOPLIN, Mo. — Southwestern Christian University's Katy Dyer placed 39th at the Southern Stampede Saturday at Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.

Dyer, a sophomore from Yukon, Okla. set a new SCU record running the 5K cross country course in a time of 20 minutes and 35.1 seconds.

She finished 39th out of 149 runners in the college division.

Dyer will race again on Sept. 24 at the Cowboy Jamboree on the campus of Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla.
